Why

The St. Andrew’s community is united and inspired by our shared love for God which Jesus Christ sees. God’s presence in our community creates love among our people. This love is a response to His love – a humble and generous love. We want to be people of both peace and joy. This humble and generous love gives us the freedom to rest in God’s peace and live confidently with purpose.
The Bible describes these characteristics as the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25) and the armor of faith (Colossians 3:12-14). At St. Andrew’s, we see God, the Creator of heaven and earth, truly touching people’s hearts and lives. His mercy motivates us to be people of compassion, love, humility, hope, and mercy.
When we see God working in our lives, we thank Him in Sunday worship – sharing His love and healing power within our community and with our students. We are confident that God Himself, who dwells in the St. Andrew’s community, will draw you closer to His holy presence.
The story of our building reflects what we see God doing. As we cleared the overgrown grass and trees and began to open up, people in the neighborhood noticed the changes. Hope and healing replaced ugliness and fear. When we make space for God, whether in our building or in our lives, He will come! We want to see God working even more, in hope, joy, and love, in the Nong Pa Krang community and beyond!
